Recipe of the Month: Valentine’s M&M Blondies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla 
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup valentine M&M’s

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla, stirring until creamy. In a small-er bowl, combine dry ingredients then slowly fold into wet ingre-dients. Add in chocolate chips and M&M's. Evenly spread mix-ture into a 9×13 pan, then bake 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before cutting into heart shapes.
